The newest restaurant from Pizza Loves Emily & Emmy Squared’s Matt Hyland, Violet is a Rhode Island-inspired grilled pizza restaurant.
Combining the name (based on Rhode Island’s state flower), the nautical waves of the Rhode Island seaport, and grill marks, we crafted an identity that has the sophistication of the grilled pizza capital of America, while also maintaining the chef’s humor. Exhibit A: Pizza Mermaid.
